When feeling disspirited, here is a simple exercise to get you back to where you want to be: Sit quietly with your eyes closed. Breathe four long breaths, four counts in and four counts out for each breath. Upon you last exhale, let all of your worry, stress and anxiety go. Repeat as many times as needed. Once you are ready, open your eyes and take a walk outside. Notice little plants emerging from the soil, the sound of birds, the smell of the fresh, spring weather and all of the beautiful flowers in bloom. Take in the beautiful season and all of its wonders before returning indoors.
