It’s not some secret government project or 80’s band name.  It’s actual lilac!  A friend of mine has been asking for a clone from my lilac bush for years.  Last year, I really thought I had something going.  But, it died in short order.  This year, while trimming the lilac bush back, I thought I’d give it another go.  I took some clippings, put them in little pots of dirt and kept them in my tiny little greenhouse.  What a great surprise yesterday when I opened up th e green house – my little starts are blooming!  I think I have a winner this year.
