I have to give a huge food bloggers shout out to our friends Rana and Phoenix for gifting us their very last jar of fresh honey. What a great flavor. You can actually taste the wild flowers and even a slight note of lavender. Sadly, their hive died off during a recent move, but I’m hopeful to be covering their new hives come late summer! So, what do I do with the gorgeous jar of liquid gold? Fry bread, smother it in butter and drizzle it in honey, of course. But tonight I just don’t feel like making bread dough so I’m going with a great stand by – flour tortillas. And, this is why it’s “cheater” fry bread. And ready in about 5 minutes.
Cheater Fry Bread With Butter And Fresh Honey
Preheat enough oil to cover the bottom of a large skillet to medium-high heat (about 375). Fry tortillas for around 1 1/2 minutes per side or until golden. Transfer tortillas on to a paper towel-lined plate to soak up excess oil. Smother hot tortilla in butter and drizzle with honey and enjoy.
Thanks, ladies! Love this honey.
Eat Well!

Stop! Hahaha…I want this very much, however I can’t at the moment. This reminds me of when I was a kid…honey and warm bread. Oh my! Thank you for the wonderful memory. Have an awesome day! Koko:)
