Crab Chowder Hot Dip

IMG_4590

I just happened to have a little leftover Crab Chowder.  And so what better application for these leftovers than the CPM’s favorite leftover staple – hot dip!?!  I served this dip with Ritz crackers but I was really wishing for some plain ol’ Saltines.  This hot appetizer is easy to throw together and can be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated until you want to cook it.  Don’t have any Crab Chowder?  Maybe try clam chowder.

Crab Chowder Hot Dip

1 cup freshly grated mozzarella cheese
1 cup freshly grated Romano cheese
1 cup mayonnaise

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Mix all ingredients together and spoon into an oven proof dish.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until mixture is hot, bubbling and brown on top.  Serve hot with crackers, chips or bread.
