These tasty crisps are a great addition to soups, salads or even as a replacement for chip. They are awesome with guac. Also, with just one ingredient, they are a snap to make!
Ingredient: Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (be sure to grate your own to avoid hidden ingredients)
Preheat a non-stick skillet to medium low heat. Sprinkle cheese on the bottom of the pan to form a thin layer. Allow cheese to melt. Once good and melted, remove pan from heat.
DO NOT SHUT OFF BURNER. Once crisp cools slightly and firms, carefully peel the Parmesan round from the pan and flip it over.
Return pan to burner and cook for another minute or so or until cheese begins to make bubbles. Remove pan from heat, allow Parmesan round to cool slightly then place on a paper towel – lined pan. Repeat as desired. As the round cools completely, it will become crisp. Break into desired pieces and….
