Day 2:
- TP Count: 16 costco, 12 angel soft
- Ordered Tide Pods from Amazon since they don’t carry my laundry soap.
- Invented a new cookie recipe! Chocolate Chocolate Caramel Cookies
Kid went to a friends house for a bit yesterday so we watched Jumanji: Next Level. Well, I watched. Hubby slept through it. He’s been working weird and long hours trying to get remote access running smoothly for hundreds of people worldwide. I really enjoyed the first Jumanji reboot, and this one delivered as well. Adding Danny Glover and Danny DeVito was pure hilarity.
Scratched yesterday’s plans to put together a puzzle. My daughter has tens of thousands of Lego. We are making a Lego City! Did you know the plural of Lego is Lego? It’s not Legos. Lego City needs a lot of work, but hey, we got time.
Lunch: grilled cheese, fruit and Crispy Taco flavored Lays. The chips taste almost exactly like a crunchy taco from Taco Bell. I’m out of bread now but that’s ok, I know how to make bread. Out of bananas, too.
Dinner: Chicken Tortilla Soup, salad, cheese quesadillas. I recently made a huge batch of chicken tortilla soup and have 5 large containers in my freezer! It freezes amazingly well. Bonus! It’s loaded with chicken and bell peppers and incredibly versatile as leftovers like Nachos, Taco Meat, Hot Dip and Quesadillas. I also do a Chicken tortilla soup Enchilada Style Burrito.
I know I will eventually have to go to the store. The very first thing will run out of, and will absolutely need, is homemade cat food. I have a 17-year-old cat who can only eat the food I make for him. I’ll post the recipe when I find the ingredients!
Here’s a funny for today
Here’s some of the craziness in our area. Costco, which had a separate line just for water.
And Raley’s, which had lines down the aisle at 8 am and out of TP at 7 am.
Stay Well!
