As much as we would like to keep this as a daily blog, we’ve found that we really only have every other day worth of material. Because lockdown is boring. Every other day is a bit of a stretch at this point, but we will keep at it. Welcome to day 13!
We’d like to give a shoutout to everyone on the front lines. Clerks, cashiers and everyone at the grocery stores! Truckers, delivery drivers; restaurant, fast food and gas station workers! Nurses, doctors and everyone at the hospitals! Garbage collectors, water, sewer, power and internet workers! Thanks for keeping us running! We appreciate you!
A relative of ours works for an Amazon contractor. She has worked every single day. We have family who work in IT. They also work every single day. And into the night, and back up at 5 am. What does CPM do in end times? Feed the people. They’re keeping us running. They’re tired. They’re hungry, too.
It’s become increasingly fascinating to us that the stores are still out of toilet paper. How much TP do people need? Stores put out toilet paper every day, and it’s gone in an hour or less. One would think that people would have run out of space for toilet paper by now!
Then there’s SPAM. Do they really need that much SPAM? Salty meat surprise is tasty and all, but are they eating the SPAM? Here’s some fun ideas, if you’ve bought too much SPAM.
At Target, there were a few packs of TP on the shelf. One woman grabbed them all, then was followed around by an impromptu parade of red carts asking where she found the toilet paper.
At checkout, she was only allowed to purchase one package. And the gentleman who tried to purchase 4 containers of Clorox spray was only allowed to purchase one. These limits are put in place because of people who can’t share with others.
Be a good human. Share with other humans. And wash your hands.
